Community Classes coming soon!
Thank you for your patience!
Hi fellow yogis! My name is Deboneé Bruce and I'm the founder of Afro Yogis Unite and AfroYogis.com.
My goal is to unite Afro Yogis from all over the globe to practice and create community in a safe space and create family, but first, I am starting in my home base of Los Angeles. We deserve community, we are worthy of being cared for by ourselves and one another.
Currently, I am building capital to lease our community space.
A little about me:
I have my 200 HR Yoga Certification with an emphasis on Therapeutic movement and Ayurveda, and additional Certification in Trauma Informed Yoga & Body Sense. (Psst! I'm also a Certified Nutritional Herbalist of 7 years)
I have been a yoga student since 2012, exploring the many styles of yogic breath practices, asana flows, and my body. Yoga changed my perspective on life, and continues to. My heart guided me to Yoga Teacher Training to share this practice with others. With over 2500 hours of personal practice, and over 300 hours safely instructing, I can assure you we'll find a practice for your body's highest benefit. I have worked with ages 11-77. I've helped bodies will all different types of challenges, from plantar fascitis, muscle trauma, shoulder injuries, abdominal surgery recovery, plus more.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or giving me a call at (424) 353-7875
I'm happy to answer any questions you may have before you start your practice.
